Vincent Van Duysen

Regardless of the type of project – a product design, a residential interior or a large-scale architectural project – Belgian designer Vincent Van Duysen’s approach is the same: he explores the art of living and emphasises quality of life, bringing forth work that resonates with people and makes them feel at ease. His work is pure, sensorial and serene, and it adheres to a design philosophy that removes all excess to zoom in on the core. It is contemporary and timeless with a wink to the past.

Born in the Belgian town of Lokeren, Van Duysen earned a degree from the Sint-Lucas School of Architecture in Ghent. He has won multiple awards, including Belgian Designer of the Year in 2016 and the Henry van de Velde Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019. His first collection with Domani is Melides, introduced in 2022.
