Sculpted Green, Memories of Earth

In July, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Hiroshima-born plant artist Kohei Oda of Qusamura on an installation at KAMO CRAFT in Higashihiroshima, Japan.

Bringing together Kohei’s distinctive approach to plants and our handcrafted planters, Sculpted Green, Memories of Earth explored the relationship between nature, craftsmanship and the passage of time.

Every plant carries the traces of its own life — its curves, scars, twists and changing colours. In a similar way, every DOMANI planter bears the subtle marks of the hands and process that shaped it.

Together, plants and vessels created a dialogue between two forms of craftsmanship: one shaped by nature, the other by the human hand.

A meeting of Japanese plant artistry and Belgian design, connected by a shared appreciation for individuality, material and time.
